Catch the excitement at Petra's Volunteer Expo '12 on May 20 and 27! You will see several displays in the lobby introducing you to the various ministries at Petra. If you are interested in serving with a particular ministry, such as Children’s Ministry, Guest Services, or Local Outreach, this will be your chance to sign up.

Hershey Trip
A trip to visit the Founder’s Hall (no cost), the Hershey Gardens ($8), and a stop for lunch (your cost) is planned for Tuesday, May 22. We will meet at Petra at 8:30 a.m. This is for seniors 62 and older. Register at the tables in the lobby on May 13 or May 20.

Free Yard Sale
Come on out to Petra’s Free Yard Sale next Saturday, May 26, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon! We’ll need lots and lots of quality donations to be able to bless one another and also our neighbors. Please drop off donations next Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. We can use clothes, household items, toys, baby items, furniture, plants, and other things (no TVs or appliances, please). Extravagant Worship – Come join us at “The Day” of praise and worship on Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the New Holland Park! In case of rain, the event will be moved to Petra. The Day will feature local worship bands, speakers, and drama throughout the day.

Come for a great evening of fun, fellowship, and relationship-building at Petra’s Church Picnic. We’ll enjoy a yummy picnic meal featuring chicken barbecue , and be able to engage in plenty of fun activities for all ages. Those who are young and young at heart should prepare to get wet! The picnic this year takes place in the field at Petra.
