About Leadership Elders: Leroy Zimmerman
Elder Leroy Zimmerman
Leroy grew up on a farm near Bowmansville and in 1963 married his lovely wife, Lillian. They served two years in Mennonite Voluntary Service in Immokalee, FL, shortly after their wedding. He graduated from Eastern Mennonite College in 1969.
Leroy and Lillian spent 13 years in Albany, GA, involved in church planting while being employed with the GA Department of Human Resources. They are currently self-employed as the owners of a small antique and gift shop, and they have a mail order business.
Leroy and Lillian have been at Petra since its inception, and Leroy has served as an elder since 1985. They currently serve as Small Group Coordinators for Region E. They have three children and two grandchildren.
